Boyne Assisted Living will provide housing for those who require a greater range of supports, services, and a meal program.
It is a 50 unit, 3-storey residence with assisted living services. Construction will begin April 2026 and open in late Fall of 2027. Interested individuals can make a refundable deposit of $1,000 to be on the priority waiting list.
Who are we?
Boyne Care Holdings (BCH) was formed as a not-for-profit entity in 2016 to own the aging in place campus. BCH owns the land and buildings the assisted living and personal care home are located on. BCH operates food and maintenance services in Boyne Lodge along with a fully licensed restaurant, Boyne River Bistro. BCH is comprised of comprised of municipal council representatives from the Town of Carman, RM of Dufferin, RM of Grey, RM of Roland and the RM of Thompson. One representative from each council forms the Board of Directors for BCH.
The Facility
Carman, Manitoba is a beautiful rural community within 45 minutes of Winnipeg, 40 minutes of Portage la Prairie and 30 minutes of Morden and Winkler.

Residents can choose from a mix of suites in a secure building with meal and housekeeping service, planned social activities and many amenities in a secure, caring, supportive family environment. Prospective residents will be required to pay a monthly rent and service package. Final costs for Boyne Assisted Living are currently under development.
Projected monthly rent and service packages start at $3,500 for a one-bedroom unit and $3,995 for a two-bedroom unit. For an additional person in the same suite, an added cost of $700.00 per month will incur to cover the service package (meals, laundry and housekeeping)
